Heritage means a great deal to me. Our social history has created where we are now! It’s an absolute honour to be part of Heritage Chester (CIC) for yet another year. An incredible group of people, many volunteers, work so hard to put together the Chester Heritage Festival which launches on 23rd May to 7th June. 😃
Attracting visitors from all over, it’s a wonderful showcase for Chester. Do check their website for details and how to book. The majority of the events are free; do book on though as often places are limited.
I’ll be at the launch at on the 23rd May at Picturehouse in the city centre. Call in and say hello, you’ll be glad you did.

I’m delighted to say that this authenticity is what the customers in my retailers’ shops are asking for. The story behind the coasters, fridge magnets, colourful mugs, jigsaws etc 🖌️🎨
It takes about 2 weeks to complete a painting from start to finish but once it’s done, it can be used on all of my giftware.

What a brilliant evening at @wrexhamuni listening to @wrexham_afc CEO Michael Williamson.
The stats on the rise of the football team were outstanding but what came across was the passion for the town and its people. I heard someone say ‘I get it now!’ No wonder there’s so much love for the team when the team represents the whole place. ❤️
The work that goes into integrating into the community with the @wrexhamafcfoundation and @wrexhamafcacademy is a shining example for everyone in every business. It’s not just about trophies, far from it.
May ‘the Red Dragon way’ forever be strong, changing lives, attitudes and bringing that positive impact everywhere in #Wrexham and leading the way for others to follow 🏴

Yes, we are all excited to see F1 back on our screens this weekend, but what about the motorsport industry of the future? 🏁
The brilliant Silverstone Museum are pioneering increasing STEM education through their school programmes and exhibits including the all important race team (strategists, engineers, drivers etc) and those outside of the teams (journalists, medics, marketing etc). The #GirlsWill campaign encourages young women to study and explore a potential career in the sport.
The likes of Susie Wolff who started the F1 ACADEMY for girls and Hannah Schmitz, Head of Race Strategy at Red Bull to Laura Mueller, first female race engineer in F1 and Doriane Pin, F1 Academy Champion and Mercedes Development Driver are changing the course of history in motorsport. These people are the inspiration for a generation of females who can say #GirlsWill.
Fortunately for everyone on the track, I shall stick to my painting and giftware making! Who knows about my 25 year old daughter though? The future for females is looking bright 😎
